X-Core provides extreme thermal protection for the body core, allowing for longer, more comfortable dives.

X-Core can be worn under an Arctic, Arctic Expedition, Halo 3D or other drysuit and increases thermal protection to the point that in many cases electric heating is not required. The X-Core is best used over a lightweight base layer such as J2 or Xerotherm, but can also be worn directly on the skin to protect the core.

The sleeveless design of the waistcoat minimises the impact on buoyancy and overall mass, especially at the shoulders and arms where freedom of movement is critical. The four-way stretch fabric combined with the long body design ensures a snug fit and minimises cold spots. The additional chest panel helps minimise cold airflow from the intake vent and provides additional thermal protection in a key exposure area. The quick-drying fabric wicks sweat to the outside, keeping the wearer drier and warmer.
