Sidemount Essential Day

Are you interested in sidemount diving, but unsure if it's for you? Then our Sidemount Essential Day is for you!
Our goal in Deepstop Sidemount Training is to give divers the opportunity to test and train sidemount in a controlled environment with our sidemount instructor and cave diver Christof Müller.

Our Sidemount Essential Day will include topics such as:

• Advantages and disadvantages of Sidemount
• History of sidemount diving
• Equipment configuration and setup
• Practice of safety techniques such as S and V Drill
• Discussion of the diving experience and a post-dive evaluation

During the Sidemount Essential Day, equipment is provided and customized for you by our Sidemount Instructors.

Our sidemount instructor is an active cave diver and has already dived the sidemount configuration in the challenging environment of caves.

Depending on your diving experience, certain aspects of sidemount diving can be addressed individually.

Details:

Meeting point DEEPSTOP divecenter in Schwetzingen on Friday afternoons, afterwards we go to the surrounding lakes or to a swimming pool.

Prerequisite for participation is a minimum age of 18 years and a Padi OWD or a brevet of the same level.
