A replacement Boot or Mount for the popular Suunto SK7/SK8 Compass. Long the favorite of serious divers, the SK7 compass even when tilted offlevel.The factory boot is not a favorite however, hard to don, and too tall. This replacement mount islower profile, and is designed to accept 3/16 diameter bungee Cord. Bungee Cord mounted gauges are far easier to don than Buckled straps,and are depth compensating.
This mount can be fitted with one continous bungee,or two seperate loops for redundancy. Simple, secure, snap in installation, tough elastomeric material, remains flexible at low temperatures.
Sehr praktische Möglichkeit den SK7 am Arm zu befestigen. Das ursprüngliche Armband wurde mit zunehmender Tiefe bei meinem HT-Anzug immer lockerer und am Schluss hat nur noch der Handschuh verhindern, dass der SK7 gen Grund gesunken ist. Mit der Gummizug-Variante hier ist das kein Problem mehr.
Kleiner Tipp zur Montage: Heißes Wasser wirkt hier Wunder und macht das Gehäuse des SK7 und des Mount-Kits kurzzeitig weich. Dann passt alles problemlos ineinander.
