The GUE (Global Underwater Explorers) REC 1 Beginners Course

GUE is known worldwide as the dive organization that offers the most thorough, sustainable and best diving education!

Our aim at DEEPSTOP is to offer the best possible training in this area, which also meets the diving requirements for our home waters, and offers the best basis & perspective for challenging dives even in caves or deep wrecks.

In the GUE REC 1 course for the absolute beginner all important aspects of diving are learned.

The course includes a training with approx. 40 hours of instruction, 14 dives (in the pool and open water).

We have at least 4 hours pool time on weekends, a training lake just around the corner,

a 30 sqm fully equipped training room and all VUE diving equipment at the highest technical standard, including dry suit.

The GUE REC 1 course includes diving with NITROX (oxygen enriched air).

and with DEEPSTOP also dry diving from the beginning.

Thus the best possible foundation is laid for one of the most beautiful adventures there is!

At DEEPSTOP all equipment including dry suit is included in the course!

The course can be booked in weekend format (2 weekends) or in compact format for 5 days.

The GUE-PRIMER Course: Dry Diving

The beginner course in weekend format optionally with emphasis on dry diving and/or diving with double equipment. 3 dives are made and theory lessons are held on the topics: VUE, trim, buoyancy, equipment configuration, fin striking techniques,
Gas planning. In the course you can also set individually desired focal points.

The course lasts approx. 10 hours, approx. 1.5 days.

We offer GUE Fundamentals courses in 2 formats:
4 day courses usually from Thursday to Sunday (approx. 40 hours, 6 dives). Courses are held at our Deepstop Dive Centre. Alternatively, courses are also possible on 2 consecutive weekends. Both formats can be scheduled if 2 participants want to register. The 4 day course can also be held anywhere in Germany, if 3 participants have come together for an appointment, and there is a corresponding logistics on site. The VUE Fundamentals course deals with the "basics" of diving. On the basis of the VUE / DIR equipment configuration, i.e. longhose, double equipment, backplate with wing, tank lamp, dry suit, you will deal intensively with diving in 4 full days. In practice, many dry drills and at least 6 dives with partial video analysis are carried out. The intensive 4 day course costs 700.00€.

You can also complete the Fundamentals 1 course on 1 weekend and complete it completely,

and later (until 6 months later) take the Fundamentals Course 2. (3 day course)

Part 1 costs 350.00€ for about 20 hours of training!

The GUE Fundamentals Course 1:

Prerequisite: 1 beginner diving course completed;

Course content: VUE, Buoyancy control, Trim, Balance, Fin strike techniques, The VUE equipment configuration;

Duration: 2 days; (min.2 dives, shrftl. exam, certification)

Course fees: For 1 participant single course 389.00 €, from 2 participants 349,00 € p.d.;

If you successfully complete the course, you can continue with the Fundamentals Course 2.

Fundamentals 2 is a prerequisite for the Tec & Cave courses. The course lasts 3 days:

Tec certification is a prerequisite for all advanced courses such as TEC 1 or CAVE 1. REC certification allows you to attend a REC 3 course, DPV1 course, Documentation-Diver course, Gas Blender course;

Course prerequisite: VUE Fundamentals Course 1; Course duration: 3 days; Course participants 2-4 participants;
