V4tec Stainless Steel Tankbands are made from V4A DIN 1.4571 Steel with a grinded surface. The tank bands are laser-cut and the parts are, before welded under a shield of inert gas, they were prestresst to the expected measures. V4tec Bands fit very precisely. The weld seam is achieved in the progression of the band, intended by the expectation not to affect the flexibility and the gripping quallity of the tank band.
