The series of Heavy Light suits was started in 1992, when the Swedish Defence Forces made a test of all available dry suits. The testing lasted for two years, and as a result, they chose the Heavy Light suit. From that moment onward, Heavy Light has continued its triumphal march throughout the world. And its story goes on. Despite its military background, the suit is a dream come true for the Tec- Diver.

Heavy Light FZ is manufactured of a very light three layer fabric. Despite the lightness, its durability is of top quality. Surprisingly enough, the durability of the material comes from its lightness - the fabric "escapes" from sharp surfaces and minimizes wear and tear arizing through friction. The outer surface profile gives less friction with water, and the lightness together with the telescopic design of the suit allows the internal air to be disributed evenly. We offer that model with a special shoulder potection made from a "Soft Cordura" Layer, and 2 large Pockets with a small zipbag outside, and a internal pocket for diver's wetnotes, and two internal shock-cord loops for attaching accessories.

Ergonomically fitting seperate neoprene hood. The face seal allows use both with half and fullface masks. The swivelling inlet valve reduces the stress on the hose.

The front zipper allows you easily to dress the suit without outside help. The cover on the zipper protects the jacket from rubbing and keeps the zipper clean from sand and dirt.

Automatic APEKS outlet and inletvalve of low profile type is provided with filter and it\\\\\\\'s therefore easy to keep clean and other additional equipments can easily be attached. Under the inlet valve is a neopren padding that divides incoming cold air evenly inside the suit.

Optional is the Classicstyle Highprofile Apeks outletvalve.

Inside the suit there are integrated braces and together with the crotch strap they form a telescope waist. Thanks to this telescope waist construction. the ergonomy of the suit feels like a normal cloth.

D-rings inside the 2 pockets, to which for example a light can be attached.

Heat pressed knee, back and elbow reinforcements.

4 mm Tech Dry boots (Special)with latex surface reduce the need for extra insulation.

Right sizing prevents additional air from getting into the boots, which would create buoyancy. Heel strap retainers keep the fins safely in place.
